After Quitting My Job, I Went Home to Inherit an Island

What's it like to inherit an island?

When this question appeared on Zhihu, Chen Mu immediately hammered out a line and posted it.

"Thanks for the invite. I'm on Crescent Island, and I just got off the fishing boat."

Beneath the white clouds, a flock of seagulls and egrets patrols his territory.

In the deep sea, tuna search for treasures on the ocean floor, while tiger sharks form a fleet to guard the island.

As he sits in a rocking chair, macaques pick coconuts for him, a chinchilla brings him lychees, and a sea lion massages his shoulders and neck.

Doesn't it all sound wonderful?

Incredibly relaxing?

But let me tell you, inheriting an island is exhausting. After all, you have to patrol hundreds of kilometers every day and welcome beauties from around the world who come to visit and attend banquets.
