Houtu's Last Will: The Witch Clan Actually Has Another Ancestral Shaman

After transmigrating to the Primordial Era, Zhou Chen receives a warning from the Great Dao and entrusts his true spirit to Pangu's immortal will, falling into an unknown slumber.

During the Lich Tribulation, the Twelve Ancestral Witches set up the Twelve Divine Fiends Formation of Heaven and Earth to summon Pangu's true body. The immortal will of Pangu, in which Zhou Chen sleeps, awakens, and he becomes Pangu's true body. Unexpectedly, Dao Ancestor Hongjun appears to stop the Lich Tribulation from erupting ahead of schedule. With a single finger, he shatters Pangu's true body, and Zhou Chen's will falls asleep once more.

When Houtu transforms into the cycle of reincarnation, the number of Ancestral Witches falls short of twelve, and Zhou Chen loses his chance to awaken.

Until... the golden age of the West begins. Ksitigarbha uses the rise of Buddhism to strike at the cycle of reincarnation and test the attitude of its master, Lady Pingxin.

But he doesn't know that, inside the Hall of Reincarnation, the will that has slept for countless ages has quietly awakened.

Lady Pingxin: "Actually, the first time we brothers and sisters set up the Twelve Divine Fiends Formation of Heaven and Earth, we discovered that the summoned Pangu true body contained a tremendous will that was awakening. He inherited our Father God's immortal fighting spirit."

Hongjun: "Fellow Daoist Zhou, don't misunderstand. Back then, I only wanted to stop the Lich Tribulation from erupting early. I never meant to stop you from awakening."

In this life, Zhou Chen awakens, the Twelve Divine Fiends Formation of Heaven and Earth reappears, and from the start, he slays Ksitigarbha.
