I Bet Against the Three Pure Ones and Inherit Mythic Arts in Journey to the West

Xu Zhian lived in the mythological world of Great Luo Heaven and made a wager with the Three Pure Ones and the others.

Could postnatal beings ascend to mythological Great Luo Heaven with their guidance?

Whoever succeeded in guiding a being to ascend would become the Lord of Great Luo Heaven.

After setting three rules, a projection of Xu Zhian entered the world of Journey to the West.

At Mount Fangcun, he met the monkey who had come to seek a master.

"Drawing in qi is reaching the summit of the Three Flowers and gathering the Five Qi at the Origin!"

"Refining qi into spirit means the true spirit never perishes, and the true self is the only one!"

"Returning to the Void and uniting with the Dao means transcending space and time, with one proof lasting forever!"

"Once you enter the immortal realm, even as a mere human immortal, you can easily change the laws of the Great Dao!"

Later, when the monkey set foot in the Palace of the Great Brightness, the assembled saints looked at him, newly ascended to immortality, and shook their heads in exasperation.

"My master said you were supposed to act along with me?" the monkey asked timidly.

In an instant, the Heavenly Dao collapsed, and all the saints perished.
