I, Han Xin: From Nobody to the Honorable False King of Qi

Born into humble circumstances, Han Xin set out to achieve his ambitions. He first went to serve Xiang Yu, the Hegemon-King of Western Chu, but was never given any important role under him. Instead, he was assigned the lowly post of a lance-bearing guard, more or less the equivalent of a personal bodyguard today. He repeatedly offered strategies, only to have them rejected. With no other choice, he followed someone's introduction and turned to Liu Bang. At last, he became an outstanding genius of his age and a renowned military strategist, rising to the distinguished position of King of Qi.
