A Visitor from Afar

The immortal islands in the sea beyond the East China Sea are surrounded by a black sea. This is the legendary Mount Penglai, a sacred mountain divided into three islands: Penglai, Fangzhang, and Yingzhou. In ancient times, the Demon Lord Bei?yin unleashed the peerless evil beast, the Dark Blazing Demon Dragon, upon the mortal world, bringing devastation to the people. Qian Daoliu, master of Penglai, led his disciples to subdue the Blazing Demon Dragon. After battling the Demon Lord for three days and three nights, they finally killed him. But at the last moment, the Demon Lord infused a wisp of demonic energy into the dragon. Qian Daoliu was now too weak to fight it. He exhausted his strength sealing the dragon, then died as his spiritual power dissipated. Before his death, he passed his position to his eldest disciple, Jiuyu, and charged him with guarding the seal. ...In accordance with his master's dying wish, Jiuyu led the three great elders, Mo Bai, Luo Bing, and Bi Shui, in guarding the seal of the Dark Blazing Demon Dragon.

Until one day, Qing Yan, the personal disciple of Elder Bi Shui, accidentally broke the spirit-suppressing pearl that guarded the Demon Dragon, releasing it. ...The Demon Dragon awakened the Demon Lord Bei?yin…
