You Told Me to Guard a Deserted Island, So What's with This Paradise?

On a satellite phone, the leader stares at the images coming back from the deserted island and exclaims in shock, "Ye Hei, I told you to guard the island. How did it turn into a military museum?"

Ye Hei: "I'm innocent, Chief! I really didn't steal this high-tech equipment. You have to believe me!"

The leader doesn't believe him and asks again, "Then what about all those mermaids and ghost ships flooding the internet? Don't tell me you know nothing about that, too."

Ye Hei: "Chief, I'm farming, dating, and livestreaming on the island. I have absolutely nothing to do with any of that!"

The leader is even less convinced. He comes to the island in person and looks at a bay that resembles a paradise, then says, "Ye Hei, how do you explain this?"

Ye Hei: "Hehe, Chief, this really wasn't me. If I say it's just the little dock where my girlfriend's family's fishing boat moors, will you believe me?"
