The Chef Gets Snubbed, and Emperor Qin Shi Huang Claps Back at the Judges

At the National College Culinary Competition, Gu Ning represents his university.

The stage is packed with experts, and the judges are all famous figures.

When they learn Gu Ning is a freshman, the judges roll their eyes.

"Has your university run out of people? Sending a freshman to compete at this level is downright ridiculous."

"Sure, that other contestant is a freshman too, but they're a prodigy chef who made a name for themselves at a young age. How can you compare?"

"You call those pickled radishes 'Dragon and Phoenix Auspiciousness'?"

"Pearl, Jadeite, and White Jade Soup? Isn't that just vegetable and radish soup?"

"Look at everyone else's dishes. They're all made with the finest delicacies, and they look, smell, and taste incredible. Do yourself a favor and pack up for home."

The judges can't even be bothered to taste his food before passing judgment.

In an instant, a chorus of birds fills the venue. A mighty figure in magnificent robes and a dragon crown looks down upon the judges, his imperial majesty so overwhelming that he needs no anger to inspire awe!

"You short-sighted fools, what gives you the right to pass judgment? You are unworthy of enjoying young Gu Ning's cooking!"

The crowd erupts in disbelief. The greatest emperor in history has actually stood up for a lowly chef!

Meanwhile, Gu Ning pays no one any mind. His ladle rises and falls, beginning a culinary legacy passed down for a thousand years...
