My Fortune-Telling Sounds Like Nonsense, But It Made Dai Xiaomei Cry

My name is Ying Guye. After my beloved died of illness, I returned to Xihai City and became an eccentric, utterly ordinary fortune-teller in a little alley.

I tell fortunes only to accumulate yin virtue, so I can meet my beloved again.

My name is Dai Xiaomei. During an outdoor livestream, I saw a fraudulent fortune-teller.

An old woman often came to have her fortune told. She said she couldn't find someone, that she'd waited a long time but still couldn't find that person.

The fortune-teller muttered strange things, until one day, fighter jets flew across the sky.

The old soldiers had come home.

I also saw a young man come to have his fortune told. The fortune-teller took his jade pendant and said something strange.

The young man *; then a woman arrived, took out half a jade pendant, and asked him to find someone.

Suddenly, the fortune-teller brought out the other half of the pendant and fitted the two pieces together.

In that instant, I saw that the young man had died in battle while defending his country, leaving behind only a soul consumed by the desire to see his beloved one last time.

The fortune-teller changes the world's tragic injustices, letting the living and the dead meet. He can save a woman in her tenth month of pregnancy and persuade a prodigal to turn over a new leaf.
