Chasing Dreams Amid Blossoms

If life were a book, this would surely be one of its dark, lightless chapters. Just before turning thirty, he fell in love with a woman older than him. Then came his inner turmoil, confusion, and pain, followed by the cruelty of reality. The ones who get hurt are always so innocent. Time flew by, and though the years dragged on, they brought many insights. This story of waiting is told in a lyrical, prose style, recounting a painful yet unforgettable journey of the heart.

From the very first day I met Ms. Liang in 2019, I began keeping a diary about her. Two years passed, and all the little moments had filled a thick notebook, leaving marks that could never be erased.
