Journey to the West: Temporary Worker in the Heavenly Court

An urban slacker woke up to find that he had transmigrated to the Celestial Court and become a member of its temporary patrol team.

At first, he was overjoyed. Was this a straight path to becoming an immortal?

But as he learned more, he discovered...

Everything in novels was a lie...

Immortality? That was a privilege reserved for the powerful.

But when the Slacker System arrived, everything changed.

Cultivation? No way.

Even on duty, he'd slack off whenever he could.

Until one day, a monkey calling himself Sun Wukong arrived at the Celestial Court to become the Protector of the Imperial Stables...
