Editing Through the Ages: From the Start, I Rank the Ten Greatest Empresses

Jiang Yang, a history buff who loved short videos, casually edited a video listing the top ten virtuous empresses and uploaded it online.

Unexpectedly, by chance, he uploaded it to Galaxy Time, a short-video site on a plane that connected the past and present.

It was an accidental post, but the title, "Top Ten Virtuous Empresses of All Time," immediately drew attention...

Lü Zhi: "Qin Shi Huang was the greatest emperor of all time, yet he had no empress in his life. That makes me the greatest empress of all time. I must be on this list of the ten most virtuous empresses!"

Wu Zetian: "Though I later usurped the Tang and became emperor, I was an empress before that. Given that I was known alongside the emperor as one of the Two Sages, surely I deserve a place on this list!"

Cixi: "I ruled the Great Qing, and dared to declare war on eleven nations when facing the Western powers. Surely I qualify as a virtuous empress?"

When the video was posted, those women who thought so highly of themselves saw that their names were nowhere on the list. They immediately flew into a rage.

"Jiang Yang, I'll kill you!"
