Great Tang: A Letter from the Start, and Li Er Invites Me to Join Him

The Tang Dynasty is one era in Chinese history that no Chinese person can forget!

In a small village, a man from the future of another world arrives.

A letter reaches the hands of Li Shimin, a man of great ambition and talent, followed by a conversation in a thatched hut.

A promise is made: "The day I ascend the throne will be the day you become chancellor."

Li Changqing, this man from the future of another world, steps onto the stage of Tang court politics and begins his legendary life.

Li Er: "My dear minister Li, having you is like a fish finding water. Under the joint rule of you and me, the Tang Dynasty will surely endure for all eternity."

Li Changqing: "I don't know about enduring for all eternity. What I want is to make this country the mightiest in the world, with no rival, and make the saying 'All under heaven belongs to the king, and all who live within its borders are his subjects' a reality."

Li Er: "My dear minister Li, the Tang Dynasty is great because of you!"

Li Changqing: "The Tang Dynasty is great because of Your Majesty and the countless people of the Tang. I'm only a guide, pointing it toward the road ahead."
