Showbiz: This Virtual Idol Is Way Too Patriotic

After terminating his contract with a Korean agency, Chen Tao was saddled with an enormous penalty fee.

He was also banned from working in Huaxia for a year.

Using computer-generated imagery and his own voice recordings, Chen Tao became a virtual idol named Taozi.

As Taozi, he performed countless patriotic songs, including "Compendium of Materia Medica" and "Nunchucks." His songs swept the streets and alleys, moving countless netizens.

"Some celebrity has the nerve to show off their U.S. green card. The difference between them and Taozi is crystal clear."

"That pretty boy went to worship at the Dog Shrine? You're an idiot. Get lost!"

"That one line was a real wake-up call. Foreign trash, get out of Huaxia!"

"I'm in tears. Even a virtual idol is more patriotic than I am!"

The three-month deadline had arrived. It was time to take off the mask and meet everyone under a new identity.

"Hello, everyone. I'm the patriotic entertainer Chen Tao."
