Setting Sail with Passion

It is the Age of the Great Pirates. In search of the legendary treasure, the One Piece, left behind by the Pirate King, Roger, countless pirates raise their flags and battle one another. A boy named Luffy dreams of becoming the Pirate King. After accidentally eating a Devil Fruit, he becomes a man of rubber, gaining superhuman abilities at the cost of never being able to swim again. Ten years later, Luffy sets sail to fulfill the promise he made to Shanks, who lost an arm saving him. As he searches for like-minded companions along the way, he embarks on an adventure with the goal of becoming the Pirate King.
