Great Tang: I Captured Li Shimin from the Start

Lu Feng transmigrates to the Tang Dynasty and activates a System. He leads the villagers in developing production, turning Lu Family Village into a prosperous and peaceful place. One day, as heavy snow falls, two merchants from Chang'an who claim to have come to buy grain wander around the village. The guards spot them, capture them on the spot, and bring them before Lu Feng. The two are like country bumpkins who have never seen the world, amazed by everything in the village.

"With disasters ravaging the land, how come Lu Family Village never lacks food?"

"The Turks are a threat. What plan can drive them away once and for all?"

"The great clans control the court and oppose the emperor. What good ideas do you have?"

After that, the merchant surnamed Li comes by every few days to ask all sorts of strange questions. He even leaves his two daughters in Lu Family Village. Until one day, Old Li quietly tells Lu Feng, "I'm Li Shimin. Please, I'm begging you, come out of retirement!" This novel is set in an alternate history, and some of its content is fictional.
