The Clouds Know I've Been Missing You

When eight people go missing one after another in Shenchuan City, the frustrated investigator Lin Zhihui has no clues to help him find them. Everything changes when he meets Huang Xinyi, a local resident. Huang Xinyi is a young, adorable girl, the quintessential girl next door: she's friends with everyone, warmhearted and kind, and wouldn't hurt a fly. She plans to get married and have children someday, and has a well-paid, secure job at a bank in Shenchuan. Her life is going smoothly, until she begins having a series of disturbing nightmares, each one making her wake in terror. As time passes, lack of sleep affects her performance at work, while the stress of her recurring nightmares begins to damage her seemingly blissful life. Frustrated by the frequent nighttime disturbances, Huang Xinyi reluctantly sets out to find an explanation for her nightmares. The possible cause she uncovers not only challenges some of her beliefs, but ultimately changes her life.
