Memoirs of Emperor Hongwu
by Everyone Says Wow When You See Them
About This Novel
[Killing Zhu and becoming self-reliant] In the seventh year of Zhizheng, it had been three years since the Yellow River burst its banks, and four years before the one-eyed stone man was born and the world was in chaos. Cheng Yuan traveled from the peaceful 21st century to this era of bones filling the fields and people dying of hunger thousands of miles away. At the beginning, he unexpectedly fell into a den of bandits who ate people without spitting out their bones, and his cellmate was a monk with the Buddhist name Jue Yuan and his common name Zhu Chongba. Cheng Yuan was overjoyed and began to improve the favorability of 19-year-old Zhu Chongba in an attempt to become the original stock of the Ming Dynasty. But the reality is less than satisfactory. ... Zhu Chongba, I have money and status, and my people have lined up from here to the capital. I risked my life and property to play with you. You think I am nothing, and you have to go back to your ruined temple and continue to be a monk! Don't blame me for being ruthless. Without you, Zhu Chongba, wouldn't I be able to rebel? Cheng Yuan raised the knife and dropped it, and a big head suddenly fell to the ground. After killing Zhu Chongba, Cheng Yuan suddenly felt that the world was vast and he could do something great. Recruit troops and horses, sweep away the heroes, send troops northward, and recover our rivers and mountains. The blade pointed at only one word, kill! Zhu Chongba, you can go with peace of mind. I will be the Great Emperor of Hongwu for you!

Good book, worth reading
The author's writing skills are online, and he also has historical research. It is rare for a novel to tell the history of the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty from a perspective other than Zhu Yuanzhang's.
