I almost missed this novel. The author's writing is smooth and delicate. It is also my favorite ancient detective novel. The male protagonist Jiang Yu has a free and easy personality and is a cute foodie. His pursuit in life is to cure diseases, eat chicken and gossip. He often confuses the elderly with a sincere and slightly shy smile, but he is possessed by Conan and encounters dead people everywhere. He is forced to work as a cheat and a prosecutor. Each case is complicated and confusing, and the involvement is getting deeper and deeper. The story is written with humor and suspense, making readers unable to stop reading.
