Having read many books by Ke Tong, I mostly give up on Kai Ma Jia's novels after reading them halfway through. This is one of the few Ma Jia novels I like left on the bookshelf. I have read most of the vest stories, and I always feel that the character design is wrong, or the red side's vest should be pure red, but the result is that it is written in a way that is disrespectful to the black side. It's obviously a black vest, but it turns out to be friendly to the red side, trying to trick Black in various ways, and even has a gray-reddish character design, which makes people have questions. There is no such problem in this book. The background is firmly black, no whitewashing, each vest has a clear personality and will not be confused. The thinking and behavior patterns of each vest are affected by the personality setting of the vest, and there are certain differences. The distinction is clear, fresh, and easier to read.
The protagonist is too cool
The protagonist lives for 50 years. Still a direct subordinate of the boss. There is absolutely no experience like 50 years. The status doesn't feel very consistent either. There are so many Conan novels, but this is the only one in which the protagonist is still useless after 50 years.
The characterization is great and the story is interesting
