I'm not very good at praising people, but this one is one of the rare Conan fanfics that can arouse my interest and be comfortable to read. I have read too many Conan fan stories that are obviously daily narrations but insist on adding inexplicable ups and downs. They are obviously copying the original work and are narrated around Conan's perspective, but they insist on adding some self-righteous suspense to a story that has no suspense. The story is clearly about the protagonist, but it is filled with a lot of fluff from the original cases that do not advance the story. On the other hand, novels like this one are too rare. The overall pacing is great. It is a masterpiece in the category of passing time novels. The reason why it is called a novel to kill time is because overall the protagonist has no sense of urgency to work towards the goal. It has a very daily feel and is easy to read. This is good. The events push the story forward in an orderly manner. I say it is a masterpiece because this book It is an art of restraint. There is no verbose part caused by the author's desire to express himself. The rhythm and importance of the events are just right. There are no unnecessary plots. It is coherent and compact and does not feel hydrological. The whole story is very comfortable to watch. Such an author is simply rare. The above points are enough for me to ignore those small flaws.
