By chance, the two brothers separated outside Changsha City. The elder brother Chen Ping entered Changsha City, but the younger brother was kidnapped by bandits and grew up in a mountain village. The two brothers have undergone tremendous changes in their lives. They have completely different circumstances and personalities, but they are reunited because of family ties. Each of them continued to explore ways to save the country and the people from their own perspectives, until the Revolution of 1911 broke out and the Qing court came to an end.
