The author is too deliberate in choosing a seemingly "reasonable" reason for the protagonist to travel through time. "On the second day after the college entrance examination, I went to the library to read, selected a magazine about ancient Greece, and read a paper analyzing the Battle of Thermopylae." "The second before my consciousness disappeared, I felt that Leonidas took the lead, led three hundred warriors to attack the Persian army, and finally died at Thermopylae.
