It's a limited exemption
The plot is all about infinite matryoshka dolls. You don't need to read it until you see the Jindan period. The rest is all about upgrading and changing maps. You build the foundation and go to the Jindan Sect to become an elder. Jindan goes to the Yuanying Sect to become an elder. Later, he goes to the Huashen Sect and the Holy Land to become an elder... This plot is simply awesome.

Many novels follow the trend and write one or two hundred chapters about practicing Qi to build a foundation. The plots are pretty much the same. Maybe those who have just read the novel are still a little interested, but after reading too many novels, they will not be able to read it.
