If nuclear radiation is only localized, it will not be survival in the apocalypse. Physical pain and devastation are unavoidable, but it would be awkward to forcefully describe the lack of food, clothing, and water... After reading a few chapters, three stars were given to the writing and narrative, and two stars were deducted because of the background setting.
