I'm the first one to comment, just give it a five-star rating. At the beginning, this book gave me the feeling that the protagonist wanted to be an ordinary person and live his life in an ordinary way. After I finally got used to a protagonist who didn't want to fight for hegemony or anything like that. Suddenly, he encountered a life-or-death disaster. After getting over it, the protagonist did not say anything about breaking this lifestyle, but agreed and participated in a competition with a group of big guys (for the protagonist now)! Do you want to be an ordinary person but get involved in things between big guys? Don't you want to live your life? I am a very strong person myself, and the novels I like to read are also novels about hegemony and invincibility. After reading your book, it is difficult for me to adapt to it. This comment is a question I put myself into the ordinary person in this novel!
