About This Novel

After a traffic accident, Li Ke's soul traveled to a parallel world that was very similar to the historical Tang Dynasty and became Li Shimin's third son, Li Ke. As a child with two royal bloodlines, the former emperor (Emperor Sui Yang) and the current emperor Li Shimin, he should have been expected to be the emperor. The so-called success is the bloodline, and the failure is the bloodline. Because he has the bloodline of the previous emperor, the founder of the Tang Dynasty will definitely not agree. In addition, the Changsun family is powerful and he is a commoner, so he can only be an idle prince. He was supposed to be a vassal in Shu, but because of his intelligence and whimsical ideas, he was appointed by Queen Changsun as the chief steward of the royal inner hall, specializing in managing royal business. After being crowned, he was favored by Li Shimin and nominated as the secret son of the Li family. After some overt and covert fighting, Li Ke became the secret successor of the Li family. As a royal sword, Li Ke became the busiest person in the Tang Dynasty. Fighting against aristocratic families, fighting clans, fighting against civil servants, fighting against generals, fighting against honorable nobles, fighting against envoys, they are simply like a bag of explosives, whoever offends the other becomes the lone king in the court. But among the people, Li Ke is also the God of Wealth and a great good man. Later, because the quarrel between the prince and the king of Wei was really serious, Li Ke, who was impeached, had to temporarily avoid the limelight and return to Shu to develop the economy of Shu and immigrate overseas. In Li Shimin's later years, because Li Xiaogong was old, Li Ke returned to Chang'an to take over the position of the Li family's secret son, assist the head of the Li family dynasty, and continue to protect the Li family dynasty. Because the new crown prince Li Zhi had a weak character, Li Ke raised the butcher knife again and completely purged the nobles of the Tang Dynasty. From An Zi to Ming Zi, and continue to cultivate a new generation of Tang Li An Zi.

A note about this book

This book is a different look at the Tang Dynasty from the perspective of Li Ke, the concubine of Li Tang and Li Shimin. The descriptions of well-known Tang figures such as Li Shimin, Empress Changsun, Wei Zheng, Li You, and Cheng Yaojin in this book may be different from those of other predecessors, or even have undergone earth-shaking changes. Please do not abandon the book because of these. The same person will be evaluated differently in the eyes of different people. Take Empress Changsun as an example. To the noble court officials and their descendants, Empress Changsun was a virtuous queen and a model of women in the early Tang Dynasty. To aristocratic families and clans, Empress Changsun was a female fox, cunning, fake compassion, and superficial. To Li Jiancheng and Li Yuanji's princesses and children, this aunt and aunt were cruel. A hot and poisonous woman; to the palace maids and eunuchs, Queen Changsun was a majestic, unsmiling, and unapproachable figure; to the concubines Li You and Li Ke, Queen Changsun was a mother who only favored her legitimate children, always suppressing and balancing her stepmother; and to Li Chengqian and Li Tai, Queen Changsun was a mother who loved him. Whose feeling do you think is wrong? Everyone is right, this is the living Empress Changsun, this is a real person. If Empress Changsun treats the time-traveled Li Ke better than her eldest son Li Chengqian, well, that's an obscene joke, not a novel. I am trying hard to portray a person with flesh and blood, rather than copying some classics and ancient texts to show that I am very good. So, don't give up now, the excitement will come later.
