Poor choice of heroine
I finally know why this book's ratings are not high. The reason lies in the heroine. Many people are disgusted with the heroine, but the author just arranged it. In fact, it doesn't matter if the author doesn't know how to write emotional dramas. In period novels, you can take the popular route instead of free love, go straight to blind date and marriage, downplay the emotional line and follow the career line. It would be better, and there would be less controversy.
