You don't know what the plot is going through? You don't have incredible abilities in the early stage, so you can only be treated like a dog.
The time traveler has become a native, and Tang San seems to be able to interfere in the lower realm at will, so what chance does the protagonist have to make a comeback? Even if the protagonist discovers this situation, can Tang San just kill the protagonist and replace him with someone who listens to persuasion? After all, it's not him who has the final say on the matter of the Son of Destiny.
