The plot of the book starts from the Tang Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty, and depicts Nanzhao, Li Tang, Fusang, Liao Kingdom and other places over hundreds of years. It uses the footsteps of the protagonist and a group of monks to depict the picture scroll, which is funny, relaxed and cute.
