The biggest failure is the use of Cantonese
Those who say that you have to speak Cantonese to feel it are really drunk. Are you sure they are not harming the author? Wouldn't it be better to write historical novels in classical Chinese? Isn't it more in line with that era? But is this possible? Cantonese is only a local language, and the readers are from all over the country. Other places will be confused when reading it, and it is useless no matter how well it is written.
There are many places to improve
According to entertainment articles, the plot logic of this novel is generally very good, but there are too many narrations and too many introductions, which makes it too wordy and makes you tired after reading too much. There is also the arrangement of women that I don't like. Since I don't like Gao Lihong, who is so beautiful, I feel like after seeing the author's writing style, I can let women sleep with others the day after tomorrow. I saw someone on the forum saying that Li Jiaxin's first blood was given to the male protagonist, but the male protagonist did not cherish it at all, but wrote that Li Jiaxin would marry someone else in the future. I was drunk too. I understand if you say that those porn stars or Zhang Jialing do not collect them, but since they are so beautiful like Gao Lihong, Li Jiaxin, and Zhang Huimin, they are not exclusive. The three main heroines now, Brigitte Lin, Qiu Shuzhen, Wang Zuxian, especially Qiu Shuzhen, what is so beautiful about them? If the author strengthens the exclusive mentality when it comes to women and increases the dialogue and reduces the introduction of narration, this book will definitely be better. I have read a lot of entertainment books, and this one is pretty good in terms of logic, not as novice as the others.
This book is really good, why are there so few reviews?
The author's writing skills are indeed excellent. It is very immersive. As the plot unfolds, Hong Kong Island in the 1980s is vividly displayed in front of you, as if you are immersed in it. The protagonist starts out as a gangster in jail. After being released from prison, he knocks on the door of Hong Kong's film industry with a low-cost movie. He deals with various bigwigs and wealthy families. With the help of movies (Goldfinger) and major historical events, he climbs up step by step. Each character in the article has its own personality, which is very delicately portrayed. Some Hong Kong dialect used in the dialogue is the finishing touch, adding a lot of life. As for the protagonist, his IQ is online throughout the whole process, and he is nicknamed Wu Zhagou. It is conservatively estimated that more than 70% of the female characters in this book have an affair with him, but it looks very natural, and it will not be like other books where the protagonist has a halo of wisdom and the female characters will fall in love with the protagonist when they see him. Although it is quite annoying, this is also the trend of that era. Not facing the sea, spring flowers are blooming. Some are just intrigues, bloody realities, and naked interests. The content tends to be dark. It's very exciting to watch.
IMHO
Please own those beautiful female stars, don't be polite to me~ Those who are not virgins should be lovers, and those who are virgins should be wives~
Okay, it tastes good
Don't speak Hong Kong, speak Mandarin, Mandarin, Mandarin
Don't speak Hong Kong, speak Mandarin, Mandarin, Mandarin,
I selected movies specifically for this book
The scene begins: On a khaki road, a row of bright yellow buses drive by. From a distance, they look like school buses. Are students going on a trip? But the huge green LOGO '1GB' on the bus obviously doesn't feel like it. The camera zoomed in on car door No. 3, And it felt like a man was banging on the door. He looked back and looked around anxiously from time to time, and his facial expression could be clearly seen as crying. The scene transitioned to the car again. The man was crying in pain, his hair was soaked with sweat, and the tears and snot on his face were mixed together. The man shouted desperately: 'Please! Drop me off. I just want to pick up my son from kindergarten. ' The man turned around and was horrified to see the big man next to him wearing leather pants, a green jacket and a green hat, holding a piece of yellow soap and tossing it up and down in his hand. There were people sitting on the left and right, either wearing yellow clothes or green clothes. Most of them were wearing a green cotton hat, and some even wore two hats. He looked at him with an intriguing smile... Suddenly the piece of soap fell at the feet of the honest man... The camera took a distant view again, and there was a miserable cry of despair in the car. The convoy is moving forward quickly. I don't know where the destination is in the distance. Maybe it is a road of no return! You really have to be careful when getting in the car, otherwise...😪
I read the comments first and almost gave up.
I was a bit uncomfortable speaking Cantonese at the beginning, but I got better at it later on, and I feel very involved. Although the background information introduced is a bit too much, it doesn't affect it in general. It is the best written in Hong Kong entertainment. The author will update it more and hope it won't be unfinished.
The writing is okay, but the author is too good at word count.
The author is too good at word count, and the story has poor coherence. One plot was well written, but then suddenly changed to another plot, and a bunch of stuff on Baidu started to miss the word count. When I wrote it back, I couldn't keep up with the previous plot. Many of the threads that the author buried suddenly disappeared. For some plots, I wrote a chapter, buried the threads, and then nothing happened. Just for the sheer word count. If this book had not as many words as Baidu's various information, if it were more concise and some hidden threads were written completely, it would really be a good entertainment novel. Entertainment novels can include some information, but two-thirds of a chapter cannot be information, and only one-third is related to the plot. I hope the author will pay attention to this when writing a novel.
I feel like I can't appreciate it
In the adult world, give me an opening chapter, passionate brotherhood? Why did he take the blame for his brothers and go to jail to avenge his boss? I can't understand this kind of friendship. The adult world is all about profit, and it doesn't matter if you sacrifice yourself for others. Anyway, what you sacrifice is your own interests. But writing this kind of article and reading it from the perspective of the protagonist feels very fake.

Rebirth Hong Kong Entertainment It is different from the previous Hong Kong entertainment. He was reborn as a gangster and banned the best actor. Collect all kinds of Hong Kong girls and fight with the film company. Dear grandmas, why are you so impressed? I thought I recommended this book by mistake, but I cleverly looked at other people's book lists, but it's all right👍

New book trial reading

Reading this book is really full of memories. Hong Kong movies have been with us for decades. Star Master is also getting old. The decline of Hong Kong movies after that can't help but sigh.
