My opinion on Yue Fei's battle at Zhuxian Town
Because the book "Back to the Northern Song Dynasty" uses a lot of real historical place names, the place name Zhuxian Town is involved in the volume "Road to Beijing". A friend asked me why I didn't write down the history in the article since I met Zhuxian Town, an important historical town during time travel. I don't think it's necessary to evaluate history, but to try to present history objectively. Although the novel may be made up, it will eventually return to the correct historical trajectory. As for the Battle of Zhuxian Town, it happened at a different time than this book, so I won't deliberately review it to avoid any suspicion of hydrology. Secondly, since I have asked whether the Battle of Zhuxian Town existed, I will tell you my opinion. Let me talk about the conclusion first. Based on the review of several wars and march routes between the Song and Jin Dynasties at that time, I think the possibility of encounters between the Song and Jin Dynasties in the area around Zhuxian Town is extremely high. The reason why I said it was an encounter rather than the great victory at Zhuxian Town mentioned in the play is because if the armies of the Song and Jin Dynasties marched normally and suddenly met near Zhuxian Town instead of the pre-prepared decisive battle location, then the victory would be a bit exaggerated. And I think that from the Northern Song Dynasty to the early Southern Song Dynasty, Zhuxian Town was not considered a strategic military town in the sense. This may have a lot to do with the emphasis on culture over military affairs in the two Song Dynasties. Of course, it is inconvenient to comment too much on questionable historical events. The above is just my personal opinion, please do not criticize. Thanks.
