Anemic Industry

About This Novel
If we burned all the coal and oil, what kind of world would be left behind? Wu Runshuo, whose pseudonym is Ryan, is faced with the combustible garbage left by previous generations of civilization. The new civilization had learned how to smelt iron with charcoal, but could not go any further because it failed to discover coal. Everything was locked on the eve of the steam engine and the Industrial Revolution. Knowledge is not magic and arcana. The principle is not about factories and raw materials. How much extra effort would it take to get back to the modern age without fossil energy?
