Wipe the Sword and Drink the Spring and Autumn
About This Novel
The people who came here were all unknowns, with empty sleeves, at most only one tael of wine, two taels of yellow sand, and some worthless old things. Peaceful and prosperous times or misty and chaotic times, rivers and lakes or temples, each has its own drama. A restaurant owner who wants to change his past, a street vendor who has wasted his life, a wandering knight who does not understand human nature, and a smart girl who thinks she has seen good and evil. A sword, a natural disaster, a brotherly dispute. A murder case, a hatred, a conspiracy. No matter who it is, they all surrender to their own desires and bend for them for countless years and throughout their lives. In the end, only the remains of desire are left like incense ashes being blown away gently. Who is truly free and carefree? After all the joking, I just focused on drinking, washing my sword, and wiping away the red dust.
