This is a very unique martial arts novel that I have read. The male protagonist does not have the aura of a protagonist. He has not met an outsider, nor has he perfected martial arts to become a great hero, nor has he returned home in glory to vindicate himself. From our perspective, he turned dark and became a killer, with blood on his hands, killing his classmates and betraying his friends. But in the end, I still felt sorry for him. He was like every little person in this world who had dreams and worked hard, but was eventually driven to a dead end by reality.
People who say the protagonist is stupid obviously haven't read the whole story, and their comments are also irresponsible.
Wang Tianyi was less than twenty years old when he first came out of the world. Just like us who just came out of society, we did not realize the sinister nature of people's hearts. I read this with gnashing of teeth. I wanted to give up the book but I was short of books anyway. The main character had no idea what he was doing and why he lived from beginning to end. He thought he was a chivalrous late bloomer but turned out to be a villain. He thought he was a blackened tycoon but turned out to be a villain. He had no luck cheating. I have died a hundred times and still survived to the end. I don't know what the author wants to express. Is he trying to express the helplessness of the world or the despicability of human nature? You can still see it from the beginning. The behavior of betraying the sect in the back is a bit inexplicable. However, the author is quite successful in portraying a villain.
