Okekawa Stalker Murder Case
About This Novel
On October 26, 1999, a young woman, Shiori Ino, was stabbed to death in front of JR Okekawa Station in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. The victim reported the case to the police many times because he had been stalked and harassed for a long time, but the police did not pay attention to it and ultimately failed to prevent the tragedy. In the process of investigating this incident, reporter Qing Shuijie followed the guidance of the "last words" left by the victim before his death, visited various parties to investigate, and found the culprit as a reporter when the police ignored clues and failed in the investigation. This further exposed the police's indifference and perfunctory to the victim's report before his death, as well as their attempts to discredit the victim and cover up the facts of malfeasance after the incident. The case triggered strong social repercussions and promoted the promulgation of Japan's "Stalking and Harassment Code of Conduct Act." This book is a complete record of the event.

The real darkness is what you think is justice and light
It was Komatsu and the police who killed Shiori! This sentence really sums it up perfectly. If Komatsu is the source of the evil, then the police are the final driver of this irreparable evil. The police's inaction and various manifestations of hiding their incompetence after the incident ironically protected the real culprit Komatsu, who should have received the most attention and attention. At the end of the incident, Shiori's family sued the police for negligence. The police's enthusiasm and initial inaction and delay were in sharp contrast. The police used the collected belongings of the deceased to weave lies to criticize the deceased, humiliating the deceased and causing irreparable harm to the family of the deceased. The despair in Shiori's suicide note comes not only from Komatsu's death threat but also from the deep despair caused by the police's indifference.
Finished reading
There are only a few abnormal people, but if you encounter one, it will be fatal. It's quite ironic that the police department has done nothing and is not even in line with professional ethics and basic conscience. All I can say is that girls are unlucky
This is a real incident. It's really annoying after watching it. It's not just a stalker who killed the girl.
I finished reading it in one go. I was immersed in the book and couldn't help but sigh.
I really want to cry, for you, me, and him. I'm sorry to know you like this, Shiori.
The writing is average, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Okekawa Stalker Murder Case
I rarely read Japanese literature (I read a lot of mystery novels), and this kind of documentary literature is rare. It's a way to understand Japanese society.
