Late Qing Dynasty (summer 1867). The martial monk Zhixin followed the instructions of his master Hui Yong and traveled to Xinjiang to help King Torgut Khan protect his family and country and fight against foreign invaders (Aqubai's invading army)... The story begins here: Zhixin bid farewell to Tianshan (in the autumn of 1878) and embarked on his return... After returning to Famen Temple after going through hardships, he found that Famen Temple had been destroyed by the war and was full of ruins. Considering Zhixin's life safety and leaving a bloodline for Famen Temple, the uncle who was guarding the ruins arranged for Zhixin to go to Guangming Temple in Wulian Mountain, Rizhao, Shandong Province to join his junior brother, Master Juehui, to temporarily avoid banditry. Zhixin followed the Yellow River and crossed the Guanzhong Plain and the Central Plains to Jinan, Shandong. On the way to Wulian Mountain together, they fought against robbers and protected "righteous bodyguards" several times, gaining fame. They also found their sister and uncle's family who had been separated for twenty years. Next, missionaries Zhixin and Zhidou went to Jinan Prefecture to file a lawsuit, and then went to Beijing to "file a petition" to help Guangming Temple open the "Lianxin Academy" to recruit students...
