Everything else is fine. Taking on a disciple is a failure. I hate the kind of dark novels where the protagonist takes on a disciple. I don't want to read it as soon as I see it.
I started to feel unhappy even before I saw where the apprentice was.
When I saw the protagonist's maid died here, the protagonist's reaction was unpleasant. He had already returned the maid's bond of sale to the maid, and the relationship between the two was severed. From now on, the other party has nothing to do with him. If he is in a good mood, he will help, and if he is in a bad mood, he will not even look at it. But the protagonist's reaction was as if his mother had died.
