The Road of Survival

The protagonist Gray is a bartender (traveler) with some culture. He is gentle and experienced in dealing with people. Just when I thought the author was going to write a history of the establishment of the Mafia, a man came to the bar. He told a story about the Avengers, and then shot the boss Matt, telling Gray that this is a magical world with elves, dwarves and wizards. Just when I thought the protagonist would handle this matter well (laughs), they were slandered and blackmailed by the inspector. Gray revealed his side as an ordinary person. He was panicked, selfish, and not as good as the supporting character White. (This is why I thought he was an abusive protagonist at first. The reason for the article) Readers want to be the protagonist because of the common characteristics of ordinary people, but they also hate seeing the same cowardice and flaws as themselves. This is a contradiction that humans can never change. Since the author dares to write like this, I believe he has his own ideas, and the protagonist will eventually transform. Goldfinger is a sight with few bugs. It can be seen from the first one or two chapters that it is definitely written by an old author. The book is a bit slow and the story-telling stage in the middle may be a bit boring. Personally, I was attracted by the opening chapter and thought it was okay.
