It's so confusing, I can't connect with it, it's jumping too fast. To sum it up, I can only give it a bad review.
No sense of immersion
It's ugly to write about a foreigner's time travel.
The author's subject matter is good, but it doesn't look like a novel at all. It's very dramatic. About 1/4 of the main text is used to explain the characters in Baidu Encyclopedia terms, and the characters are forgotten. In the text, Hamilton's explanation of Philip's political system, national system, and economic basis? ? ? Did this word exist at that time? These explanations are all based on Ma Zhengjing's explanation. No matter how you look at it, it would be better not to write it. The subject matter and time are very good, but the writing is average.
The author's subject matter is very good and relatively novel. If he can write well, it will at least be considered a masterpiece.
I hope that the author will read more other excellent books to improve his writing skills, such as The Clueless Pig. I also hope that he will read it by himself after every chapter. There are too many sick sentences and it makes it confusing to read.
