About This Novel

"Guizang Sanshuo" is a novel based on the lost ancient "Yi" as a clue. The story begins with a set of manuscripts signed by Xue Zhen and compiled by Ma Guohan. It tells the story of "I" in Luoyan Village, Heshun County, Jinzhong, around the Ba Chun Gua and the fragments of the "Qi Mu Jing", and with Lao Qin, his father Wang Tianshun, Lao Feng, Carpenter Chen and other villagers worked together in their daily lives of building roads, digging wells, recuperating from injuries, fighting for boundaries, and protecting mountains. They integrated ancient hexagrams such as "his words are sincere", "his body is immobile to celebrate" and "a bird is about to drop its wings" into daily necessities. The poor man Qin Kuan went from arguing to holding a stick to guard the road, his father explained Kun De with silence and hard work, and Lao Feng used an old mirror to see the news of heaven and earth - the blank spaces in the scriptures were quietly filled by the life, old age, illness, death, words, silence and deeds of these ordinary people. The novel draws on the lost knowledge and years of living in the mountains to slowly reveal the philosophical background of "Gui Zang" with Kun as the head and Gui Zang as the purpose: all things return and are hidden in it, and the hexagrams are not for divining, but for living.
