About This Novel

"Any energy that really exists in the world must have its simplest movement process." --"Introduction to Magic Measurement and Basic Standardization" Nozze Stella, who was a college student in her previous life, found herself transported to a world where gunpowder, armor and magic coexisted. It is also a world where feudal empires, free federations and theocratic states coexist. At this moment, the entire world is being swept into an unprecedented torrent of change. Gunpowder was innovating, the bellows of the smithy were working day and night, and the roar of forged cannons drowned out the trumpets of knights' jousting. The stone castle that once withstood a siege for months turned into rubble and dust in a few days under the bombardment of heavy artillery. The lead bullets of the matchlocks could penetrate the plate armor passed down from generation to generation by the nobles at a distance of three hundred paces. Politics were reforming, the emperor's edicts were losing force in the border provinces, and the lands of the hereditary nobility were shaken by waves of citizen uprisings. The flag of the Federation is rising on the ruins of the old world, while the royal family and nobles of the empire are clinging to their thousand-year privileges and trying to plug the gap of the times with iron and blood. Even magic, which was once the most mysterious and untouchable, is undergoing a subversive revolution. Once upon a time, magic was a miracle that could only be touched by the chosen ones. It was the sharpest weapon used by imperial power and theocracy to consolidate their privileges. Now, magic is no longer a God-given privilege, but knowledge that can be learned. Noze is carried forward by the wave of the times, and one day, he will become the driving force of the wave itself.

Too slow to heat up. Going by the title and introduction, I basically didn't see what I wanted to read after reading Chapter 89. Changes, opportunities, big games, and becoming a pig in the spotlight are basically non-existent so far. Even if they are present, they are basically the functions of flavor text, and the product is not right. Learning a healing magic in the early stages felt like a clue, but it had no sense of existence in the subsequent dozens of chapters. If you want to write about your progress from a young soldier in the army, I suggest you write another book, or change the title of this book. What everyone wants to see is the protagonist taking advantage of modern people to accelerate change. According to the current way of writing, I don't know that it is the year of the monkey and the month of the horse.
