Xinzhuang Faushi
by Deep Learning Little Wontons
About This Novel
In the magical city, there is such a person. They live in Xinzhuang and commute to Caohejing for an hour every day. They earn neither high nor low wages and have an aesthetic and style that is three times higher than their income. They don't like the lunch boxes from 7-11, and they dislike the smell of pickled cabbage in the park cafeteria. They would rather eat three fried dough sticks in the morning to last until noon than hold a cup of Starbucks hot cocoa and say they feel guilty about eating. Their circle of friends is always filled with poetry and distant places: the sycamores on Wukang Road, the snow in Mogan Mountain, the fragrance of Yirgacheffe, and the Japanese version of the spring trees. This is the story of Xinzhuang Faushi, and it is also the story of thousands of ordinary people struggling to survive in big cities. Smiling and smiling, I saw myself.
