Overall it's good
The writing, the ideas, and everything else are all top choices, but the protagonist single-handedly brought the book to a freezing point. Childishness, nonsense, and stupidity are not shortcomings, but ignorance is. No one likes ignorant children, including me. I can't even understand how the protagonist can be so ignorant. I should have understood some simple truths before I was 6 years old. Even when I was a child, I was based on opportunism and the extent that my parents could tolerate it, rather than ignoring everything when it happened.
