About This Novel
In 1206, a veteran of the Third Crusade, a spearman, drank alone to relieve his sorrows in the French city of Rouen. The young noble knight Robert happened to pass by this remote hotel, and the two people who were destined to meet met like this. Veteran Stirling told Robert the history of how King Richard I the Lionheart defeated Emperor Saladin in 1191. Robert understood the essence of Richard I's tactics, and then he invited Stirling to be his military advisor, and they fought together in the north and south, turning an ordinary knight into the commander-in-chief of France.
