About This Novel

Wouldn't it be better for you to apply for immigration? You are really wronged in the country! Every line is full of American thoughts.

After all, it's not a big problem if I don't talk about logic, but the connection of the content is really messy. There are often too many differences between the previous chapter and the next chapter, as if there are a few chapters missing in the middle. And this happens not only once or twice, but many times. At the end of the previous chapter, I am meeting a lover in New York and at the beginning of the next chapter, I am discussing things with my wife in London. Even if the author explains in one sentence that the protagonist returns to London after meeting a lover, it is better than skipping this way. It feels like part of the content of the book has been eaten away.
Heavy flavor
People of color are discriminated against. It makes sense. The main character has a strong taste. If you don't watch it, you're afraid of being poisoned.
In the early stage, the South had a high chance of winning, but the Northern army was not good enough. If the South had not been unwilling, the North would not have been able to win.
