About This Novel
According to research, the historical founder of the Wudang Sect, Zhang Sanfeng and Zhang Junbao, had nothing to do with Shaolin, and his master was not Master Jue Yuan. AD 1281, the second year after the demise of the Southern Song Dynasty, the 18th year of the Yuan Dynasty, and the 22nd year of Kublai Khan's reign. The story begins in February of this year, when young Zhang Junbao prepares to go with his master to Changchun Palace, one of the ancestral halls of the Quanzhen Sect in Dadu.
