As a girl, Zhaoyue, Princess of the Eastern Sea, once shared a bond with Wu Lang. She thought that bond was strong enough to trust him with her life.
But when grown-up Zhaoyue once again finds herself by his side through a twist of fate,
Wu Lang keeps his mouth shut about the faint clues emerging from beneath the storm of intrigue.
Zhaoyue consoles herself: It’s fine. In the end, I’m still an outsider.
But even after she becomes his wife, Wu Lang is no different.
Zhaoyue tries to put her mind at ease: It’s fine. He probably just doesn’t want me worrying.
Then Zhaoyue discovers that Wu Lang and their sixty-something-year-old tutor have something going on.
Zhaoyue pretends to take it in stride...
That dog of a man tricked me into marriage! This princess is done with this life!
