Fierce Beast Evolution

A hundred years ago, one earth-shattering mushroom cloud after another rose into the sky. Alpha, beta, gamma, and X-rays blanketed the globe, and the once-green planet was ravaged by fear, death, and mutation...

Most living things, humans and animals alike, perished in the disaster. Those fortunate enough to survive underwent cellular and genetic mutations in a world where radiation was everywhere. There is no denying it: to stay alive, you have to adapt to the times.

At the height of technological progress, humanity was wiped out. In its place came a civilization of biological mutations amid great upheaval...

Shi Sui, a boy from the slums of a low-radiation zone, lives under 2 grays of radiation. (Gray is the unit used to measure the absorbed dose rate of gamma radiation in the air during environmental radiation monitoring. An adult cannot survive in an environment with 4 grays.) What fate awaits him?

A mine collapse, a desperate struggle to survive in the narrow gaps, and a drop of miraculous liquid. Can it do more than change his genes?

In this brand-new world, humans who successfully mutate gain strength and speed on par with beasts. How far will that incredible genetic chain transform him? Martial arts, spell-like abilities, and firearms intertwine...

Where there is thought, civilization can arise. Swept up against his will in the clashes between competing factions, he has only one goal: to stay alive.
