The Way of Righteousness

Follow the Way of Heaven and Earth, uphold the chivalrous code, and save the suffering people. Then this life will not have been lived in vain. A young man burdened by the hatred of a ruined home and a fallen city retreats from the world to cultivate and pursue the Way, only to be forced into a war against a coalition of foreign nations. As one friend after another dies, he loses all hope in imperial power. Driven only by the pride he feels in his people, he faces foreign monks, holy knights, onmyoji, and ninjas in battles to the death.
