The dead pass on, and dynasties fade;
The world is vast, with rivers, lakes, and open skies.
The first volume of this book is titled “Heaven-Gifted, Yet Troubled by Injustice.” All things are unfair, and the protagonist's origins are reflected in these lines:
“Born into the world with a wicked name, entering it burdened by grudges and debts.”
Yet Heaven cherishes life. How could it forsake a child blessed by Heaven?
Heaven has granted him the Great Way: what good is youth if he does not outshine the heroes!
All things are unfair; why torment yourself in vain? With your tiny body, carrying twigs forever, can you ever fill the sea? I would calm the Eastern Sea, though my body sink, my resolve would never change. The sea may never be stilled, but my will shall never end.
Alas! Have you not seen the many birds carrying twigs from the western mountain? Magpies come and swallows go, each building its own nest.

Senior brother, would you like to come to my place and have a look when you have time?
So enthusiastic, such a nice guy!
At this point, all ten sects showed their faces.
Just having eyebrows is enough to make you look ugly...

There's always a hint of embarrassment here.
